Bluebags making history once again

We’ll the North Newcastle Club once again find themselves involved in another history making first this Saturday at Passmore Oval.
The North Newcastle club will have now be the first ever Club in Australia to have pioneered both Mens and Womens Rugby League.
This Saturday the Norths Newcastle Maidens will create history against the Redfern All Blacks in the first ever competition games involving tackles.
The Norths Maidens with field three Internationals featuring Dual International Bec Young along with Caitlin Moran and Simone Smith.
The team will also feature six players from the NSW Country side.
The North Newcastle Maidens would also like to thank Sponsor Carol Campbell from Port Hunter Conveyors Rubber & Ceramics for her ongoing and generous support.
The Norths Newcastle men will be hoping to bounce back and record our first win when we play competition favourites the Shortland Devils.
12pm Gates Open.
Grab a feed and a few beers before our games.
1.30pm North Newcastle Bluebags vs Shortland Devils.
3.00pm North Newcastle Maidens vs Redfern All Blacks.
Lets get out and support both our teams this Saturday and once again, BlueBag Tunnel to Passmore will be conducted for both Mens and Womens Teams.
