About us

Newcastle Rugby League commenced a local Rugby League Competition in 1910 after previously having a team play in the sydney Competition in 1908 and 1909. In 1910 Northern Suburbs RLFC,known as the Bluebags were one of the Foundation clubs along with Souths, Wests and Central.
